All the flavor of the Pacific seasoned with design, history and good taste is what ‘Atlas’ exudes. A new building that rises in the heart of the Californian city of Oakland. The cozy and refined final result is due to the unique touch of the Rodrigo Vargas Design’s multidisciplinary team.
This 40-storey residential project covered with mirrors, which act as protection towards the interior providing privacy and refuge, offers 633 residences for rent and integrates flexible spaces and illuminated rooms – from studios to 2 bedroom apartments – reinvented as a response to a more versatile and temporary demand from homes. The designers of the international firm RVD, skilled in the luxury sector, have been able to connect the internal life of the building with the exterior in a natural and logical way, making the guest’s relationship with the entrepreneurial spirit of the surrounding neighborhood the essence of the building.
In ‘Atlas’ everything appears purified, softened by the sieve of the most contemporary and top quality lines in which earth tones play the main role. Excellent attention to detail, thoughtful experiences and lush shared spaces furnished with Twins, Nido and Nude, exude harmony with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Area.
