Leku family
Javier Pastor. 2026
Leku, meaning “place” in Basque, is born where space becomes matter and light finds a place to rest. Inspired by the work of Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida, the collection turns emptiness into a gesture that is both habitable and everyday. In the dining tables, this concept unfolds through forms that evoke time and territory: an oxidized structure paired with the organic warmth of sapele wood. In their circular and oval versions, the tables invite movement and gathering, while light settles on their textured surfaces, creating a sense of serenity. Each Leku table is a habitable sculpture, a place where materials converse and give meaning to the space around them, a place that celebrates encounter.
