Originally upholstered, Petale chair by MUT Design has evolved this season into three different versions allowing for multiple customisation options.
From the beginning, it was possible to sense the many possibilities it contained in spite of its apparent simplicity. And thus it was quite easy to reimagine it and turn it into something new.
How? Just by changing the backrest. The upholstery has been removed to free the structure and dress it in a radically different way. Braiding rattan is something we know extremely well. We have applied this knowledge to the braiding of other materials such as nautical rope. Nautical rope is strong, highly resistant and it can be very elegant too. Perfect for outdoor use as it happens.
Petale chair comes now in three different patterns going from a bit more classic to almost futuristic and ten different rope options. Now do the math and imagine how your ideal Petale would be.
